Energy Services South: Collaborator in Nation’s Pipeline Integrity Assurance

Navigator Energy Service’s Borger Express Pipeline, which is anticipated to become operational in Summer 2022, has been designed to connect a regional refinery to a crude oil storage facility in Cushing, Oklahoma.
The 195 miles of 16-inch pipeline will span seven counties in Oklahoma and Texas, not only bridging regional access to the storage facility, but also providing an economic benefit to the surrounding areas. PLH Group’s Energy Services South (ESS) recently delivered an instrumental section of this project.

Navigator Energy Services is the largest private crude oil midstream provider in the Anadarko Basin, with significant operations in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles.
Once completed, Navigator’s Borger Express Pipeline – which will traverse through Texas’s Hutchinson, Roberts, and Hemphill counties and Oklahoma’s Ellis, Woodward, Major, and Woods counties – will have the capacity to transport up to 90,000 barrels of crude oil each day.

This offers greater selections, volumes, and flexibility to the refinery, consequently presenting direct and indirect economic benefits for residents and businesses in the surrounding areas of Texas and Oklahoma.
ESS’s project scope encompassed Spread 2, which included construction and installation of 33.5 miles of pipeline in Woodward County, Oklahoma.
ESS successfully achieved mechanical completion of this portion in December 2021 with zero safety incidents or recordables, furthering its proven ability to provide reliable expertise while prioritizing safety. As a full-service pipeline construction company, ESS offers pipeline construction services, station facility construction, integrity services, and DOT maintenance and upgrades.

ESS’s unique position within PLH Group provides customers seamless collaboration with other energy-focused experts spanning the United States and into Canada.
ESS is proud to have successfully contributed to the Borger Express Pipeline project, which will bring positive transformation to the surrounding Texas and Oklahoma regions. Its safe, quality performance delivered on-time and within budget furthers the reliable reputation that ESS has earned over the last 13 years of operation.
